Light kissed the buds of mallow
\nAnd welcomed an autumn bloom;
\nThe cups that’d lain so shallow
\nSprung forth and blushed anew.<\/p>\n
It meandered as flowing water
\nOver the peaks one by one –
\nSpilling into a tankard
\nAnd joining more in tandem.<\/p>\n
Every sparkle on the mounds
\nThat captured my curious eye
\nWas one of some polished diamonds
\nFor me to gaze at and sigh.<\/p>\n
Delicately, artfully –
\nThe Sun reposed his diadem –
\nShifting over the glory
