Those who despise you with most might,
Are ones whose lies you hinder flight,
Their hatred’s burning, fierce and bright,
As you bring shadows into light.

Your truth illuminates their night,
Disrupting shadows woven tight,
By their tales of success or plight,
From their podiums day and night.

They may devise all kinds of tricks,
To stop your light from reaching peaks,
But you may notice their craft,
Unravel their yarns in draft.

And then your wrath will light a blaze,
And set their crafty yarns ablaze,
Illuminate the darkest night,
And bring the true story to light.
